The Slingerz Family has promised the Guyanese a Christmas to remember with two big events on December 25 and December 26.
The annual Slingerz Christmas party featuring Jamaican dancehall entertainers Tommy Lee and Popcaan from Gaza Empire is set for the Guyana National Stadium on December 25.
The other event is the 11th edition of the popular Vergenoegen Village Day for December 26 (Boxing Day). As usual, the event will be hosted on the Vergenoegen Rice Mill Tarmac, with the fun starting at 14:00h with the cook-out. Santa will arrive at 16:00h and will be distributing free gifts for all the children of Vergenoegen. Slingerz will be providing the music for the children.
However, when it gets dark, the village day will “tun up” , with live performances by Jumo “Rubber Waist” Primo, D Hitman and the Hit Squad band and Baby Cham.
