The annual Wedding Expo is slated for April 5 to 7 at Roraima’s Duke Lodge at Duke Street, Kingston, Georgetown.
Members of the Roraima team will meet with exhibitors on January 16 to unveil and present new events and packages. The event will also see the introduction of a complete wedding package for prospective brides and grooms.
This year for the first time, the Wedding Expo will include an actual marriage ceremony. Couples will be invited through applications to enter the “Race to the Altar” competition to be selected as the wedding couple.
It is no secret that Roraima Airways has been at the forefront of lobbying for changes in the law that would encourage wedding tourism in Guyana. The Roraima Group continues to believe that Guyana can be a worthwhile destination for couples seeking a unique wedding experience.
Last year’s event saw in excess of 5000 patrons attending the spectacle. Event planning, photography, bridal wear, invitations, jewellery and luxury transportation exhibits were showcased.
