The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company Limited ( GT& T) on Friday launched its Valentine’s Promotion with an offer of 10 per cent discount on all BlackBerry Curve 9360 and 9380 hand sets.
The promotion called “Telephone Love” was launched at the BlackBerry Store, Brickdam, Georgetown in the presence of Cupid and the Promoter, and executives from the telephone company.
With this offer, the telephone giant will be putting smiles on the faces of lovers from February 1 to February 14. GT& T marketing executive Alison Dundas explained that the 9380 handset is a full touchscreen phone and the 9360 is semi- touch. They both have a 5mp camera and flash among other features and operate under the OS7 network, Dundas added.
Upon purchase of any of the handsets, customers will be given one month’s free data service; a T- shirt and a ticket to the Link Show slated for the National Cultural Centre later in the month.
Dundas said GT& T is the place to shop for that loved one, since its prices are unbeatable. More importantly, customers will have a chance to take photographs with Cupid and the Promoter which can be immediately uploaded to their Facebook account.
Another intriguing feature of the promotion will be the scanning of a QR code that takes customers to a website called “ BBM of Love”. On this website, there are messages of love that you can forward to your loved one during the promotion period.
There are also other models of BlackBerry phones available and with every purchase, customers will be given an exciting gift.
